Foley House Looking Sharp in Tiger Merchandise!
After our visit from “Joffa” Corfe at Jumper/Dress Presentation Night, our President, Leanne Backwell, went and kindly donated a whole bunch of LFNC merchandise to the residents of Foley House. Our superstar potato farmer, Barry “Mocka” Hunt also gladly donated a heap of potatoes to help feed everyone! Cheers Mocka!
Below are some photos of the Foley House residents and the workers modelling their new attire! A group of LFNC players & officials will be visiting Foley House in the near future to keep the fantastic connection alive!
Jumper/Dress Presentation Night
|At our jumper/dress presentation night, we were lucky enough to have Geoff “Joffa” Corfe come and speak to the audience about many issues we may face in our daily lives: homelessness, acquired brain injuries and mental illness, just to name a few!
If anyone you know needs a helping hand, feel free to contact Foley House via this link.
Our 2016 Best & Fairest winner, Cameron Wight, spoke to everyone about dealing with Depression and gave some excellent tips. There will be more to come with this topic as the Lancefield Football Netball Club tackles it head on in 2017!
Cameron has been working with ‘Better Out Than In’, an AFL initiative in conjunction with other fantastic associations, to get the message out into reality, that it’s ok to talk about any issues we may have.
